Apex Legends- Pathfinder Cosplay
Pathfinder is a fictional character from the video game "Apex Legends". I decided to fabricate a costume based on this character, since I saw an opportunity to challenge myself with meticulous detail and new skills to learn. The costume is mostly built from EVA foam with some 3D printed details around the costume, such as the yellow handlebars installed onto the chest armor. LEDs were installed within the visor of the helmet, as well as a Surface Pro tablet within the chest armor. The tablet is able to slide into a compartment, with a rechargeable battery powering the tablet for 8 hours.
A speaker is rigged to the costume that is connected to a soundboard via a smart phone that plays Pathfinder's iconic voice lines from the videogame. The whole costume received a warn-down paint job to reflect the sci-fi world that Pathfinder is from. Examples include dirt, grime, and other elements from nature.
The entire cosplay was built to be a modular system, making it easily to take apart and store for traveling.
